Special Treat for Special People~ [MichiKai]

Note: This is Chapter 8; we skipped some chapters because of some time reasons. And also, the explanation of chapter 7, KyuGaku tennis club members switched souls because of a machine called soulfly. But they were able to return to normal. >>chapter 7<< to be posted soon.

Chapter 8: De. Ja. Vu.

    After the very frustrating switching of souls, everyone had a peaceful meeting at the café located near the school. It opened a week before and became popular through the whole campus. It’s the first time that they will eat there so they’re excited about it.

After 10 minutes of waiting, their order finally arrived. But they were surprised. Mikai wasn’t with them. Because of hunger and lack of patience, they all munched. They noticed that the food was already gone before Mikai could even eat. Then they were somewhat curious,= and worried.

“Min’na, where’s Mikai-senpai?” Tsuki asked.

“I’m here!!” Mikai ran as fast as he could.

“Jeez,... Nii-chan, you should really balance your time for work!” Ai added.

“WO..WORK!?!?!” everyone shouted.

Mikai smiled.

“You didn’t know? Nii-chan’s working at the Aristocrat family’s business which is a branch of Oba-chan’s. Ne, Nii-chan, is Oba-chan frustrating you??” Ai asked.

“Well, she’s not even going to the place where I work so..I guess I’m fine. But I really apologize for being late..” Mikai said.

“You’re 2 hours 35 minutes and 10.0912 seconds late.” Michiko still added.

“Then I guess I’ll pay the bill..” Mikai laughed.

Everyone ‘s complete now. They chatted and stayed there for the whole day. Until..

“Mikai-kun, your cellphone’s ringing..Answer it.” Michiko said.

“Ok, ok..wait..Ah, it’s Hikage. He told me to come out for a few minutes. I’ll be right back!” Mikai ran to the exit door.

“Ai-chan! Who’s Hikage?” Everyone asked.

“^^ Kage-san is the tranche 2’s leader. He’s the legitimate succesor of the tranche 2 of the Aristocrat family. He’s very kind and thoughtful! He’s my playmate when I’m alone and also, he’s about the same age as our sensei, Hajime-sensei!~” Ai added.

Meanwhile, outside:

A very loud bang was heard.  The café was purely sound-proof so no one heard it. Well, except for Michiko. She thought it was just her imagination knwoing that the structure of the café is sound-proof, she still hesitated and decided to come out of the café.

“Where’s she going?” Akumu asked.

“Somewhere she wants to. WTH, this is a free country!” Shikashi added.

“What’s up with him, with the free country and stuff?” Asami asked.

“His magazines were confiscated by Maki-chi while classes are on-going..so he wants to fight for his stupid magazines..” Sho said.

“M..Mikai-kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Michiko shouted.

“Was that..just now, Michi-chan?!” Riku said.

“Yep.” Akumu said.

They all went outside and saw Mikai’s dead body.

“O..Onii-chan..” Ai’s crying and was hugged by Sho and Shikashi.

“SHISHOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Akumu shouted.

“Who!?” Kiyoshi asked.

“SHISHOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Akumu again shouted.

“WHOOOO?!” Kiyoshi asked again.

“I said Shishou you damn butler.” Akumu said.

“Shishou? Do you mean those guys in black suit holding a gun and about to run?” Asami pointed at the 3 guys in black suit.

“Yep. That’s Shishou to you! Heh!” Akumu looked arrogant.

“Wait, holding a gun..they killed Mikai!” Michiko said.

“You must be wrong Michi-senpai..Kage-san can’t kill nii-chan! They’re best of friends!” Ai protested.

“THAT’S HIKAGE!?” they all said except for Akumu.

Then Michiko cried. She didn’t notice that her teardrop fell on the heart necklace that Mikai gave her the first time they strolled around the campus. [This wasn’t mentioned during chapter 1 although, it is considered as behind-the-scenes.]

In a flash, everything went grayscale. Black and white over almost everywhere. Then Michiko saw her child version. The child Michiko who’s utterly standing in front of her holding the diary she had kept since 5 years old. And then the child Michiko showed her something inside the diary. It was the heart pendant that Mikai gave her. And inside the heart pendant, she looked closely , it was Mikai’s most happy pictures. In a drop of tear, everything from the grayscale world, became a white world.

A world that’s like magic, full of snow. Then, she woke up on the cold and snowy ground. When she blinked, a girl stood in front of her. The future Michiko. So much successful, but so much full of loneliness too. But still, the future Michiko’s still holding the pendant, and the diary. But now, inside the diary, is a blank page. No writings and almost burned. The future Michiko spoke.

“You have so many chances to live. 50% of them, is yours. 50% of them,  should be to the one you love. Don’t be so caught up in your dreams. Because if you do that, only 1% of your life will stay with you. Correct what is wrong and say what you have to say.”

Michiko closed her eyes. And then she woke up.

INSIDE THE café. 

“After 2  hours 35 minutes and 10.0912 seconds, Mikai will come inside this café.. I have to think..what can I say to stop him?!” Michiko whispered.

“Michi-chaaan, what are you thinking about?” Riku asked.

“No..nothing..” Michiko answered.

Then they all waited. And Michiko was correct. In 2 hours 35 minutes and 10.0912 seconds, Mikai will arrive and there he is!

They chatted..and then Mikai got a text message.

 “Ok, ok..wait..Ah, it’s Hikage. He told me to come out for a few minutes. I’ll be right back!” Mikai said while running.

“WAIT! Mikai-kun!” Michiko’s about to ran but she can’t think of anything that can stop Mikai. And she failed again.

Seconds after that, a bang was heard.

Then it was repeated. Mikai died for the second time, but only Michiko knows.

She was then again in the grayscale, then in the white world, and boom. In the current time.

INSIDE THE café. 

They chatted..and then Mikai got a text message.

 “Ok, ok..wait..Ah, it’s Hikage. He told me to come out for a few minutes. I’ll be right back!” Mikai said while running.

“Mikai-kun!!!!!!! THIS TIME I’M NOT LETTING YOU GO! I LOVE YOU MIKAI-KUN! YOU HEARD ME, RIGHT!? I LOVE YOU ILOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!!! IF YOU GO OUT THAT DOOR... I’LL HATE YOU FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!” Michiko shouted.

Mikai was surprised and dropped his cellphone because of what he heard. He was even blushing together with Michi-chan.

“A..um..Michi..-chan... you understand that there are people in here, right?” Mikai said.

“No. No matter what you say, I’ll never let you go..out.” Michiko whispered back.

The people stood up and clapped almost teary-eyed.

Meanwhile outside:

“Madame. I’m sorry but there had been an interruption, a girl named Yamasaki Michiko forced young master to stay inside. We should pack up and leave now.” Hikage was talking to Mikai and Ai’s grandmother.

Then fortunately, Mikai’s life was saved. But can their relationship be forever? As what we say, forever doesn’t exist.
